We need information. Going up the food chain could get you eaten if this was an inside job, but there doesn't seem to be much choice. Does Taylor have any "unofficial" contacts unknown to the Office, by any chance? Now might be a good time to consult them. Either way, he should keep his head down and stay off the grid as much as possible. Avoid the pod, too; automated conveyances have a way of taking you places you didn't want to go.
